We've all had those moments when life doesn't go according to plan. Maybe you lost your job. Maybe you went through a breakup. Maybe the business idea you poured your heart into didn't work out the way you imagined. And sometimes you look in the mirror and quote Taylor Swift: "It's me. Hi. I'm the problem, it's me"!
Poor Decisions. We make 'em. With a little bit of luck and grace, we hopefully fix 'em. And what a little bit of age life experience teaches you is that you'll probably make more. So what's a girl to do? Our advice:
1) Find your Flock, lean in, and hang on tight
We have a bit of a Peacock theme going on over here, and that's great because one thing we know for sure is that life is a little bit easier when you find your Flock.
The women who share the connection. The women who celebrate the win. The women who show up when things get hard. And the women who remind you that sometimes your biggest mistake can become the beginning of your best chapter.
2) Turn that Poor decision into a Pour decision
Sure, some of our questionable decisions will take more than girl talk and a cocktail to fix. But not all of them are the end of the world. In fact, some of those bad decisions might just propel you into something entirely different and better! Sometimes, while you're sorting through the "fixes", it helps to just take a minute to wind down. Light the good candle. Take the time to make yourself a proper cocktail, spirited or not. Serve it to yourself in a pretty glass, and toast to your own strength. You got this!
And if you need a little reminder, we'll be right here—with a cocktail, a candle, a little glitter, and some very funny napkins.
Cheers to women supporting women.
And cheers to the next chapter.
